BLUEFIN CRUISE REVIEW 2026 –
MY PERSONAL OPINION
If you’re searching for a Bluefin Cruise 10’8 review, you’re likely trying to decide whether this is the right paddle board (SUP) for you — and whether the latest version (version 6 – 2025 model) is worth buying? Well I now have two Bluefin Cruise Paddle Boards (2021 and 2025 models) and I think I am well placed to give an opinion on this Paddle Board:
The short answer?
The Bluefin Cruise SUP still one of the best-selling and most reliable stand-up paddle boards (SUPs) in the UK — and the newest version fixes and improves some of the biggest issues people had before.
MY FIRST BLUEFIN CRUISE 10’8 PADDLE BOARD (2021 v3 Model)
After much deliberation and research I bought my very first Bluefin Cruise 10’8 Paddle Board back in 2021 and it was the v3 model. I had tried a few other Paddle Board brands through renting them out and borrowing others from friends and was very impressed by the features and stability of the Bluefin SUP so that is the one I bought (I don’t mind paying a little bit extra for quality & durability). Six years later I and my family are still using the Bluefin Cruise SUP 2026!
However I wanted an extra Paddleboard for my family (the kids love paddle boarding so I’ll jump on anything that gets them outdoors) So I had no hesitation in getting another Bluefin Cruise 10’8 Paddle board – but in 2026 the newest model was the v6 – same price as I paid before – but I was to find had some noticeable enhancements. Read on to learn about my findings in a review of the newest 2025 Bluefin Cruise 10’8….
Here are my 2 Bluefin Cruise 10’8 Paddle boards – the 2021 Model on the left (which we still use 5 years later) and the latest 2025 Model on the right. Other than the facelift, the obvious differences is that the new 2025 Model is lighter and has only 1 fin.
This is exactly what you get with the new Bluefin Cruise Paddle Board. The bag is a big upgrade and being a lighter board the bag is smaller and easier to carry than previous models.Bluefin Paddle Boards have always looked stylish on the water and the new printed visuals on the board make it look even more eye catching.

Why is the Bluefin Cruise 10’8 So Popular?
The Bluefin Cruise 10’8 SUP has dominated the UK market for years — and that’s not by accident. It’s now on it’s version 6 2025 model and better than ever.
1. It’s Designed for Beginners
This paddle board is incredibly stable thanks to its wide deck and balanced shape. That means:
- Easier to stand up
- Less wobble
- More confidence on the water
The board is specifically designed for stability and versatility across lakes, rivers, and coastal water – making it ideal for beginners.
2. It’s a True All-in-One SUP Package
Unlike many cheaper paddle boards, the Bluefin Cruise includes everything:
- Paddle
- Pump
- Backpack
- Leash
This makes it one of the best-value paddle board SUP packages on the market.
3. Built to Last (Not a Cheap SUP)
Bluefin uses:
- Dense drop-stitch core
- Multi-layer PVC
- Reinforced rails
The result is a rigid and durable board that holds its shape even under heavier riders. As mentioned I have had my 2021 model for 5 years now and it’s as good as ever.
What’s New in the 2025 Bluefin Cruise Paddle Board model compared to previous models?
The latest version of the Bluefin Cruise 10’8 is a genuine upgrade — not just a cosmetic refresh (it does look better than ever though and comes in some funkcy colours).
Key Improvements to the Bluefin Cruise Paddle board:
1. 20% Lighter Design
Bluefin claims the board is around 20% lighter than previous models and this is a massive upgrade for me.
- It’s only around 9.1kg total weight
- Noticeably easier to carry
- I’m impressed by how much lighter it is – meaning less space taken up in my car and it;’s very easy to carry on your back
This directly fixes one of the biggest gripes about the 2021 model.
2. ESL Construction Upgrade
The newer model uses ESL (Exo Surface Laminate) construction, which:
- Reduces weight
- Maintains rigidity
- Improves overall handling
3. Better Deck Pad & Comfort
The updated deck pad is:
- Larger
- More comfortable
- Better grip
This matters more than you think — especially for beginners or longer sessions.
4. Improved Fin System
The new fin system (only 1 fin this time vs 3 previously) is:
- Easier to install
- More secure
- Better for tracking

The one fin solution on the 2025 model is more robust with the screw function and whilst a little tricky to set up on your first attempt – once you know it bcomes easy
The Bluefin boards alwasy have nice extra touches that are clearly thought about and bring added practicality compared to other SUP’s
